Original Organic Mate Set

Original Mate - Comes with three 70g bags of pure mate, a "bombilla" straw, and an insulated "gourd" cup.

This green mate can be compared to green tea. It can be consumed continuously throughout the day, as those in South America have done.

Mate stimulates the central nervous system and brings a state of relaxation by lowering blood pressure.

Infuse 1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon in a mug at 80 degrees for at least 5 minutes. Each portion of mate can be reinfused up to 3 times.

The "gourd" style cup is insulated and is perfect to infuse mate in. The "bombilla" straw is specially designed to be a filter, so mate leaves will not come up the straw. The straw can also be used with other larger tea leaves.
